Imman Issa holds a Master’s degree in Health Psychology and Diploma in Counselling, and is a chartered psychologist of the British Psychological Society. She has over 20 years experience in working with children and adolescents with special needs & Giftedness and providing intervention plans for schools and families. She is an expert in behaviour modification programs and early intervention programs for families with infants and toddlers with special needs as well as social skills development and behaviour modification programs for children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Asperger’s Syndrome (ASD). She is an evaluator in psycho-educational and IQ assessments in both Arabic and English for both children and adults. Imman has extensive experience of working with clients with eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, Borderline & Bipolar Personality Disorder, She has also experience of working with many related comorbidities such as anxiety disorder, depression, bereavement, social phobias, panic disorder, OCD, self-esteem and identity issues. Imman considers herself to be an integrative practitioner; she has trained in a variety of different psychological approaches, including CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy & Acceptance-commitment therapy, and compassion-focused therapy.
She is the first certified Passion Test Facilitator in the Middle East, and runs one-on-one sessions and group workshops utilizing The Passion Test. She guides each individual through their passions, helping them find their unique purpose and understand how one’s passions are what lead one to fulfill that purpose. In 2013, Imman became a certified Creative Coach and works with creative talents to unblock their potential. She has conducted many workshops on self-discovery and self-awareness.
